Wellawatte, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Wellawatte is located at the south of Bambalapitiya, Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is a busy and densely populated town with many textile and jewellery shops. There are also many restaurants and apartment buildings in the area. Many of the locals are tamils, and the Wellawatte Beach is a very popular attraction here. A trip by train along the Wellawatte Beach is an exciting experience as it offers beautiful sceneries of the Indian Ocean. Wellawatte railway station is located on the Coast line between Bambalapitiya and Dehiwala railway stations. Distance between Colombo Fort and Wellawatte railway station is about 7km. Wellawatte means ‘sandy garden’ in Sinhala, the Sri Lanka's main language. The Wellawatte canal, which is spanned by a road bridge before spilling to the sea, then, as now, was an important feature of the area.

The market is one of the earliest surviving structures in Saigon and an important symbol of Ho Chi Minh City. Canals of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

There are 165 canals (grachten) in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The combination of these canals is more than 100 kilometers length, with 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings. There are also 2500 houseboats in Amsterdam. and many have been afloat for more than a century.  The 17th century canal ring area, including Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North". Marina Bay in Singapore has undergone a transformation of epic proportions. James Bond Island, Phuket, Thailand.

Khao Phing Kan or Ko Khao Phing Kan is an island in Thailand, in Phang Nga Bay northeast of Phuket. The islands are limestone tower karsts and are a part of Ao Phang Nga National Park. TIGERS SUPER SPORTS About 40 metres from the shores of Khao Phing Kan lies a 20-metre tall islet called Ko Ta Pu or Ko Tapu. Since 1974, when they were featured in the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun, Khao Phing Kan and Ko Ta Pu have been popularly called James Bond Island. In 1981, the island became the most famous part of the newly established Ao Phang Nga Marine National Park. Since 1998, it is forbidden for tourist boats to approach Ko Ta Pu. This measure aims to stop erosion of the limestone rocks on and near the islet that might eventually result in the island's collapse. The Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi) is a fountain in Rome, Italy. It was designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini. It is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world. No trip to Rome is complete without a visit to the Trevi Fountain. It is a stunning design and there’s a lot more than just a beauty fountain. The Trevi Fountain stands a massive 85 feet tall and is almost 65 feet wide. The fountain spills about 2,824,800 cubic feet of recycled water into the pool every day. Roughly €3,000 is thrown into the pool every day as people follow the tradition of throwing coins over their shoulders. The legend holds that a coin thrown into the fountain will ensure a return to Rome. The coins are collected every night and given to an Italian charity called Caritas. It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to China. Approximately 60% of the length of the lake lies in China. All together it covers 604 km sq. Photo by Fadzil Hisham Pangong Tso can be reached in a five-hour drive from Leh, most of it on a rough and dramatic mountain road. The journey crosses the Chang La Pass, which is one of the highest road in the world. The spectacular lakeside is open during the tourist season, from May to September. Its Victorian Gothic style stems from a law that forced the designers to create a structure that would be in harmony with the nearby Tower of London. Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Photo by Fadzil Hisham The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a late 19th century building located along Jalan Raja in front of the Merdeka Square and the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building originally housed the offices of the British colonial administration, and was known simply as Government Offices in its early years. In 1974 it was renamed after Sultan Abdul Samad, the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time when construction began. The Merdeka (Independence) Square is located exactly opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. This is the historical place where the Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan flag was raised for the very first time at the struck of midnight of 31st August 1957. From then on, Merdeka Square has been the venue for the annual Merdeka Parade. Surrounding the square are many buildings of historical interest. It is named after the Scottish lawyer, judge and literary figure Henry, Lord Cockburn. The street contains a series of small specialist shops. Given that the building dates from 1761, this is evidence to Edinburgh's fondness for high-rise structures dating back to the 18th century. Namiseom Island was formed as a result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam. It is a half moon-shaped isle, and on it is the grave of General Nami, who led a great victory against the rebels in the 13th year of King Sejo, Joseon Dynasty.  The Island is 63 km away from Seoul in the direction of Chuncheon, and is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is one of the 20th century's most famous and distinctive buildings. Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, the construction began in 1958 and was formally opened on 20 October 1973. Bukittinggi, Indonesia.

Bukittinggi is the third largest city in West Sumatra, Indonesia, with a population of just over 124,000 people and an area of 25.24 km². It is in the Minangkabau Highlands, 90 km by road from the West Sumatran capital city of Padang. The whole area is located near volcanoes, Mount Singgalang (inactive) and Mount Marapi (still active). At 930 m above sea level, the city has a cool climate with temperatures between 16.1° to 24.9°C. Bukittinggi is popular due to the climate and and Minangkabau culture. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monumentto become the tallest man-made structure in the world.
