Tanjong Malim is a peaceful town located at about 70km north of Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . It lies on the Perak-Selangor state border, with Sungai Bernam serving as the natural divider. This lovely town can be reached via the North-South Highway or simply by train from the KL Sentral Station . The Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) is one of the most historical place in Tanjong Malim. Opened in 1917 as Sultan Idris Training College, the university has produced so many important people for the country. Tanjong Malim is a nice place to relax yourself from the bustling city.
